What should I wear?
There is normally a wide variety of dress at First Baptist Church. Most of our congregation dress casually when attending our services.?Some of the men will be wearing suits and ties, and some women will be wearing dresses, but it is not uncommon to see people wearing jeans.
Our Sunday and Wednesday evening services usually have a more casual atmosphere.
How early should I arrive?
It usually works best for the first time guests to arrive between 10 to 15 minutes before the service begins.?As you enter the building, we have an information desk with one of our greeters there to assist you. Click here for service times.
Where should I park?
We have special parking places reserved for our guests as you enter the parking lot, directly in front of our building.
Does First Baptist have Bible Study classes?
Yes, we have many Bible Study classes for children, youth, and adults that are called lifegroups. You can see a complete listing of adult classes by clicking here, or you can drop by the Information Center. The greeters will be able to help you. They will make sure that someone will guide you to the correct classroom.
What should I do with my children?
If you come by our Information Center, the greeters there will introduce you to MaryAnn Stuart, our children ministry director, who in turn, will introduce you to your children's teacher.

Children's classes are available during all services on Sunday and during our lifegroups at 9:30 AM. We also provide children's classes during our Wednesday night service at 6:45 PM. We have dedicated teachers that are prepared to serve our children.

Fifth grade, as well as, Junior and Senior High School students are invited to attend Youth services at 9:30 AM on Sundays and 6:45 PM on Wednesday evening.
We understand the safety concerns of the parents for their children. All of our teachers working with infants through high-school are trained and each one has had a child abuse, police and FBI background checks before they are able to work with the children.
How do I join First Baptist?
If you are interested in joining our church, we ask you to come to our monthly New Member's class. This class is also available to those who are just interested in finding out more about our church's history, beliefs, philosophy and ministry direction.?Following the 10:45 AM service, a luncheon is provided for those attending the class. After lunch, the pastor will meet with those attending in the Conference Room in the office located on the second floor.

How do I get involved in a ministry at First Baptist Church?
There are many areas of ministry in which to get involved. We want to help you find an area of ministry that fits your interests, talents and gifts. Every month, in conjunction with the New Member's Class, Mr. Dan Stuart will meet with you and help guide you to the correct ministry. Do I need to bring a Bible to First Baptist?
We encourage everyone to bring their Bibles to our services. However, if you do not have a bible, we will provide one for you.?All Scripture used during the message will be projected on the screen, so that you can follow along while the sermon is being given.
What style of music does First Baptist use during the worship Services?
We use mostly contemporary Christian praise music during our 10:45 AM service, led by our praise team. Our 8:30 AM service is more traditional blended style of worship, where hymns and gospel songs are sung by the congregation.?Worship at 8:30AM is lead by the worship leader with the church choir. Both Wednesday and Sunday evening services are blended in style, led by the praise team.
