I was born in Buffalo, NY and raised in West Seneca, NY where I met my sister’s friend, Betty (the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen) who soon became my High School sweetheart.
Upon graduation we were married and thought we were happy. However the real joy of marriage and family did not manifest itself until 1967 when as a twenty five year old husband and father of three sons, Betty’s Pastor introduced me to the LORD Jesus Christ.
Soon after my conversion, my family and I were off to Bible College in Lynchburg, VA. Upon graduation in 1977, we moved to Lancaster, PA to start our first church with 30 people. We saw that church grow to over 400 in Sunday School with a high day of 1200. God has blessed us richly through the years by allowing us to start four churches and see one church turn around from going down after a horrendous split to running 400 and two services.
I met Pastor Peper in the early 80’s at a fellowship meeting. He has been an inspiration and good and faithful friend to Betty and me. We have been part of First Baptist staff since January 2004. Over the next few years, Betty and I are looking forward to “finishing strong” for the Cause of Christ. We are honored and blessed to be part of this wonderful ministry. We are here to serve Him in any way He sees fit for us to serve.
