At a Summer Camp in 1999, I surrendered my life to serve the Lord full time.  That fall, I entered Baptist Bible College in Springfield MO, as a Pastoral Studies Major. It  was at BBC that I was able to learn the Word of God in depth, and begin to see the pieces fall into place of what the Lord desired of me, as I set out to serve Him. During my second year at school I was able to get involved with the youth ministry at Bellview Baptist Church. There men like Dr. Hunter Sherman and Rob Willis helped me begin to shape my thinking about ministry, and what it was God exactly was calling me to do in the future. That summer, I got married to Rebecca Green, who I had known from way back in youth group at FBC.

In the Spring of 2003 I was able to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Studies, but I somewhat knew the Lord was not done with me yet in Springfield, nor at BBC. So that fall, I entered the Baptist Bible Graduate School of Theology. While going to school full time, working full time, and trying to youth pastor and still have time left for my wife Rebecca, I began to see even closer what the Lord was doing in my life.

In May of 2005 I graduated from BBGST with a Masters Degree in Church Ministry. After graduation the Lord allowed my wife and I to come home and begin to serve on staff at my home church, here at First Baptist in Aston.

The Lord has been so good to Rebecca and I, as we now have a daughter Alana, and we are able to serve at the church that we both grew up in. I am looking forward to an awesome year for our Church and for our Student Ministries here at First Baptist. My wife and I are truly thankful for all He has done for us, and allowed us to experience as we faithfully serve Him
